Overdraft Protection is now available with two options to choose from.
ODST- Share Account Transfer1
ODLC- Overdraft Line of Credit2
1 Share Account Transfer (ODST): When overdraft occurs, necessary funds will automatically be transferred from the share savings account in order to clear a checking account negative balance. Transfers from a savings account to checking will be made in increments of $50. An activation fee of $5 will be assessed for each account transfer transaction. Member agrees all funds in the master share account are available for transfer to cover overdraft items. If an NSF item is present is sufficient funds to cover the item are not avialable in the share account, a return fee of $25 will be assessed, and the item will be returned to the presenter unpaid. The credit union reserves the right to revoke this privilege at any time. Subject to approval.
2 Overdraft Line of Credit (ODLC): Member may apply for an overdraft line of credit with a limit to be determined by a loan officier, but in no case more than $500.00. When an overdraft occurs, transfer necessary to clear checking account negative balance will be made in increments of $100. An activation fee of $5 will be assessed for each account transfer transaction. If there is an outstanding balance on the line of credit, the checking account will automatically be debited for the loan payment on the 28th of every month. Monthly payment will be 3% of the outstanding loan balance or the entire outstanding balance, which ever is less. The min. monthly payment is $25. Fixed Annual Percentage Rate (APR) is 14% on the outstanding balance. If an NSF item is present and sufficient funds to cover the item are not available in the share account, an return fee of $25 will be assessed, and the item will be returned to the presenter unpaid. The credit union reserves the right to revoke this privilege at any time. ODLC is subject to approval.
*A Non Sufficient Funds Fee may be imposed for covering overdrafts created by check, in person withdrawal, ATM withdrawal, or other electronic means. Whether your overdrafts will be paid is discretionary, and the credit union reserves the right not to pay. For example, we typically do not pay overdrafts if your account is not in good standing, not making regular deposits, or your have too many overdrafts.
